Domaine Philippe Naddef – Les Clos 2017 – Fixin

The nose is elegant, slightly tight and offers freshness, richness (full of control / precision), a beautiful finesse of the grain as well as a certain fine power. It reveals notes of pulpy Boysenberry, crushed purple plum and small notes bright / fresh cherry associated with a touch of strawberry, gray pepper, hints of lily, fresh nutmeg, toasted almond as well as a very discreet hint of bergamot and laurel berries. The palate is elegant, delicate, all in finesse, bautifully focused on the fruit and offers a beautiful definition, energy, a beautiful acidulous / juicy frame, a fine crunchiness, aromatic purity as well as a certain fine concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy raspberry, fleshy / pulpy red berries and small notes of fleshy Quetsche plum associated with touches of pulpy / crushed small blue fruits, violet, a fine hint of crushed cassis, dried blond tobacco, almond, nutmeg as well as a very discreet hint of green cardamom and toasted almond. Tannins are fine, mellow and elegant. Beautiful persistence with a discreet hint of rose petal, chocolate and bergamot. Beautiful freshness and delicacy of the fruit !
