The palate is elegant, gourmand and offers suavity, a small roundness as well as an acidulous frame, a small freshness, precision and a very fine richness (in control). On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright black cherry, violet plum, small notes of raspberry associated with small touches of crushed redcurrant, violet, fresh mild tobacco as well as a subtle hint of cornflower, sweet spices, a discreet hint of vanilla pod (in the background). Good length and persistence. Tannins are precise, fine and supple.
