The nose is fresh, racy and offers elegance as well as a small complexity. It reveals notes of bright wild blackberry, ripe cassis, small notes of crunchy bigarreau cherry associated with touches of violet, zan, small blue fruits as well as hints of black olive, laurel berries, discreet hints of sage/arbutus and a very discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, a good definition, a small tension, a small fat as well as a very fine richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, bright bigarreau cherry, small notes of pulpy raspberry associated with touches of violet, olive leaf, tonka bean/chocolate, caramelization, cherry core as well as hints of hazelnut as well as a subtle hint of sage, arbutus and toasted. Tannins are precise and structuring.
