Domaine Jessiaume – La Comme 2017 – Santenay, 1er Cru

The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers a fine richness, minerality as well as a small freshness. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet and small notes of blueberry/small wild fruits associated with touches of Sichuan pepper, sweet spices as well as discreet hints of vanilla. The palate is fruity, beautifully well-balanced and offers juiciness, a good definition, suavity, tension, gourmandize, a small aerial side as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, crunchy/acidulous red berries and small notes of crunchy/juicy blueberry associated with small touches of juicy plum as well as hints of liquorice stick, toasted, vanilla and a very discreet hint of chocolate on the finish/persistence.
