Domaine Gueugnon Remond – Vieilles Vignes – Cuvée L’Aurore 2015 – Bourgogne Blanc

The nose is fruity, gourmand and offers a fine richness as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of ripe lemon, flowers, vine peach and small notes of exotic fruit associated with touches of white fruit, almond and beeswax / brioche. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, gourmande and offers a nice mineral frame, a nice unctuosity, a nice definition, a fine straightness, a nice finesse and freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy lemon / lemon paste, crushed brugnon and exotic fruits (passion fruit, quenette) associated with hints of beeswax / honey, candied orange zest, brioche and almond. Good length.
