Domaine Gresser – Riesling 2015 – Kasterberg Grand Cru – Alsace

The nose is aromatic, fruity, slightly tight and slightly intense. It reveals notes of flowers, green apple skin and nectarine combined with touches of spices, Cuben pepper / gray pepper, flint, as well as subtle touches of crushed mirabelle / quince. The mouth is fruity, fresh, mineral, racy and offers a nice acid / citrus frame, suavity, power, a slight richness, a nice gourmandise, straightness, a beautiful definition, fat as well as a slight depthness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe lemon, crushed vine peach and slight notes of ripe mandarine associated with touches of spices, ripe grapefruit as well as discreet touches of almond, passion fruits and an imperceptible hint of flowers (in the background). Good persistence.
