Domaine Grand – En Beaumont 2010 – Château-Chalon

The nose is elegant, aromatic, fresh and beautifully defined. It reveals notes of dried berries, mirabelle plum, dried lemon and dried peach combined with small notes of flowers as well as small hints of acacia honey and almonds. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, precise, elegant and offers a very beautiful definition, a beautiful acidulous frame, dynamism, a fine suavity, a good structure, roundness, a beautiful finesse of the grain as well as gourmandise. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe lemon, ripe mirabelle plum and small notes of quince associated with small touches of dried apple, dried peach, fresh almond as well as slight hints of acacia honey, green walnuts and an imperceptible hint of butter (in the background). Good length. There are a very discreet hint of fresh almond and an imperceptible touch of pâtisseries on the aftertaste.
