Domaine Goyer, Tradition 2022 – Châteaumeillant

The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose offers an expressive spiciness, as well as fresh and juicy fruity notes. It expresses peppery notes (white pepper, see black pepper, pink pepper berries), a hint of coriander seeds, as well as a very slight touch of sweet spices (clove), associated with notes of juicy raspberry, wild strawberry, fresh and roasted red cherry and crushed blueberry, as well as subtle notes of mint and flowers (peony, iris in the background). On the palate, the wine is round, supple and goumand, with very slightly tannic (the tannins are practically imperceptible). The flavors are essentially fruity: we find notes of strawberry, fresh red cherry, red currant, raspberry, associated with a floral touch of peony and a very delicate peppery note, which appears at the end of the mouth. The finish is fruity, gourmand, moderately persistent. An accessible and easy-drinking wine.
