The nose is fruity and offers a slight minerality. It reveals notes of blueberry, ripe red berries and slight notes of wild raspberry combined with a discreet hint of cassis as well as an imperceptible hint of colas (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant and offers a beautiful mineral frame, finesse, gourmandise, silkiness, a beautiful freshness as well as a beautiful juiciness and fleshy fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy / juicy blueberry and slight notes of red berries, fleshy raspberry associated with touches of redcurrants, liquorice as well as subtle hints of toasted oak, colas, sweet spices and a subtle hint of cardamom. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length. Chew on the finish.
