Domaine Fougeray de Beauclair – Clos Marion 2016 – Fixin

The nose is fresh, fruity and a bit firm. It reveals notes of crunchy green peach, pear and small notes of citrus associated with fine touches of quenette / exotic fruits, quince as well as a very discreet hint of flowers and an imperceptible touch of butter. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-built, fresh, well-balanced and offers an acid frame, a small suavity, a racy minerality as well as a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy peach / brugnon, fleshy pear and small notes of citrus associated with small touches of apple, quenette as well as discreet hints of flowers as well as a subtle hint of juicy / crunchy mirabelle. Good length.
