Domaine du Pas de L’Escalette, Les Clapas -2021, Terrasses du Larzac

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is expressive, with notes of ripe fruit (red cherry, morello cherry, blackcurrant, red plum), a hint of peppermint, liquorice, and slight notes of smoked meat. On the palate, the flavors are fresh and tangy (red cherry, raspberry, red currant, blueberry), slightly herbaceous (fresh thyme, savory), with very fine spicy and smoky notes. The tannins are firm, a little tight, of a medium (+) level. On the palate, the wine has a medium body, a nice acidity, and a medium length, with flavours of acidulous red fruits and fresh minty and peppery notes. A wine with a defined structure, on the fruits, pleasant to drink.
