Domaine du Château de Meursault 2015 – Savigny-Lès-Beaune

The nose is aromatic. It reveals notes of blackberry, leather and slight hints of plum associated with hints of wild berries, a hint of spices as well as a subtle hint of cassis bud. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, silky and offers a beautiful acid frame, gourmandise, a very slight fleshiness, an acid frame, a slight depthness, a slight minerality and a beautiful definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of wild raspberry, redcurrant and juicy Quetshe plum combined with touches of blackberry, subtle hints of Zan / liquorice, spices, cardamom as well as a subtle toasted touch and a very slight hint of chocolate on the finish. Tannins are well-built and slightly chewy. Good length.
