Domaine du Château de Meursault 2015 – Beaune Premier Cru

The nose is aromatic, gourmand, elegant, racy, beautifully built and offers concentration. It reveals notes of crushed Quetsche plum, blueberry and small touches of cassis combined with touches of red berries, cherry as well as a hint of terroir, Zan, spices and a discreet hint of Cuben pepper and an imperceptible hint of almond (in the background). The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, nicely defined, elegant, racy, harmonious, melodious and offers a nice suavity, a beautiful juiciness, a slight acid frame (in the background), a lot of gourmandise as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of raspberry, crushed redcurrant, wild strawberry and touches of blackberry, plum touches associated with subtle / discreet touches of caramelized oak, toasted touches, sweet spices / vanilla as well as an imperceptible almond hint (in the background). Tannins are well-built, elegant and slightly chewy. Good length. Good chews on the finish.
