Domaine du Chardonnay – Vaillons 2015 – Chablis Premier Cru

The nose is fresh, fruity and racy. It reveals notes of ripe lemon and slight hints of ripe mandarin associated with hints of ripe white fruits, crunchy green apple as well as touches of limestone. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a beautiful suavity, fat, a beautiful minerality, a slight acid frame (in the background), fat as well as a good definition. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe lemon, ripe mirabelle and slight notes of clementine associated with touches of limestone/terroir, a discreet hint of ripe apricot as well as a hint of apple and very discreet toasted hints. Good length and persistence.
