Domaine des Perdrix – Aux Perdrix 2014 – Nuits-Saint-Georges – Premier Cru

The nose is aromatic, elegant, racy and velvety. It reveals notes of blackberry cream, raspberry and slight hints of flowers (violet, hint of rose) associated with slight notes of spices, toasted as well as a hint of cardamom and a discreet hint of caramelization. The palate is fruity, velvety, elegant, soft, gourmand, delicate, ample and offers a slight minerality (frame). In the mouth this wine expresses notes of raspberry jam, redcurrant jelly and slight notes of Quetsche plum associated with touch of toasted, liquorice (discreet) as well as a hint of cardamom. Good suave persistence. There is a very slight hint of caramelization in the aftertaste. A very beautiful wine! A delight!
