Domaine des Malandes – Vau de Vey 2016 – Chablis Premier Cru

The nose is fruity, elegant, racy and offers a fine grain. The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of brugnon and fresh pear associated with fine notes of citrus, crushed apple, mirabelle plum, beeswax as well as an imperceptible touch of flowers and vanilla. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, precise and offers a fine minerality, a beautiful suavity, a small unctuosity, tension, straightness, elegance, an aerial side as well as a beautiful juiciness and delicacy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed Brugnon, crushed pear and small notes of apple, quince associated with hints of citrus (tangerine, pink grapefruit), butter and a discreet hint of beeswax. Good length.
