Domaine des Amadieu – Garrigues 2016 – Cairanne

The nose is fruity and offers finesse as well as a small complexity. It reveals notes of blueberry, Bigarreau cherry and crushed redcurrants associated with fine touches of flowers, cassis, racy minerality as well as hints of garrigue, liquorice, chocolate and imperceptible hints of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, precise, straight, beautifuly juicy, racy, elegant and offers tension, a racy minerality, a good structure as well as a beautiful definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of red berries, cassis and Bigarreau cherry associated with small touches of juicy plum, juicy raspberry, violet as well as discreet hints of liquorice, chocolate and an imperceptible touch of olive tree. Tannins are well- built and a bit firm. Good length. The finish is (very) slightly grainy.
