The nose is fruity and offers gourmandize, power as well as a certain tension. It reveals notes of fleshy/pulpy cherry, crushed wild strawberry, small notes of wild blackberry associated with small touches of cassis, violet as well as fine hints of zan, pepper, nutmeg, very discreet hints of graphite and lilac. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced, finely tight and offers a small concentration, an acidulous/juicy frame, a small fat and a beautiful juicy/finely firm fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, juicy cherry, small notes of juicy Boysen berry associated with touches of crushed redcurrant, liquorice stick, nutmeg as well as a discreet hint of mild tobacco, violet and an imperceptible hint of camphor. Good length. Sapidity on the finish. A discreet hint of chocolate/caramelization on the persistence.
