Domaine de Montbourgeau – Vin Jaune 2011 – L’Etoile

Domaine de Montbourgeau – Vin Jaune 2011 – L’Etoile

The nose is elegant, fruity and offers a beautiful definition, a small power as well as a small richness. It reveals notes of quince, butter and small notes of yellow fruits associated with a hint of yellow flowers as well as fine discreet hints of crystallized lemon and an imperceptible hint of bee wax. The palate is fruity, harmonious and offers minerality, tension, precision, frankness, a fresh frame as well as a racy minerality/a small salinity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of quince, crystallized lemon and small notes of juicy green apple associated with fine touches of yellow fruits as well as discreet hints of bee wax, butter, toasted hazelnut and a very discreet hint of green cardamom (in the background). Peps on the finish. A beautiful wine.
