Domaine De Montbourgeau 2013 – L’Etoile Vin de Paille – Jura

(60% Chardonnay, 20% Savagnin and 20% Poulsard) The nose is fruity and fine. It reveals notes of dried fruit, honey, quince and hazelnut associated with a discreet note of Zante currant, fruit in syrup as well as a hint of fig, spices and a slight hint of cashew / walnuts. The palate is fruity, gourmand, fine, mineral, elegant, straight, slightly aerial and offers gourmandise. On the palate this wine expresses notes of honey, candied quince and honey combined with fine Zante currant, dried apricot as well as slight notes of dried figs, spices and a discreet note cashew / hazelnut. Good length.
