Domaine de la Noiraie Grand Mont 2019 – Bourgueil

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity with light garnet reflections. The nose is delicate, fruity and subtly spicy. It expresses notes of wild strawberry, dried red cherry, chocolate morello cherry, wild blackberry, blueberry, blackcurrant and raspberry coulis, combined with notes of licorice, cumin, grated nutmeg, with a touch of toast and vanilla, as well as refreshing aromas of wild mint, cut rosemary, a floral bouquet (violet, wild rose, elderflower, lily) and a touch of mineral and tobacco in the background. The palate is juicy, ample, with a frank and enveloping attack. It expresses notes of morello cherry, crushed raspberry wood strawberry, redcurrant jelly, blackcurrant and roasted red cherry, associated with notes of sweet spices (nutmeg, licorice, clove), fresh tobacco and flowers (dried rose, violet, lily). The tannins are fine, well structured, firm and sapid, with a good bitterness, which appears on the finish. Beautiful acidity, which brings structure and freshness to the wine. Complexity, gourmandise and controlled concentration.
