Domaine Carrette – Ronchevat 2016 – Pouilly-Fuissé

The nose is fruity and offers a fine intensity as well as a fine richness. The wine need to be put in carafe. It reveals notes of quince, ripe apple and small notes of Brugnon associated with touches of vanilla, ripe / juicy citrus as well as a very discreet hint of quenette and butter. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful racy minerality, a beautiful roundness, a good definition, gourmandise, elegance, a fine acid frame (in the background), a very fine tension as well as a good grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / crushed brugnon, apple and small notes of citrus associated with fine touches of zest. Good length.
