The nose is fruity, well-rounded and offers a small concentration as well as a fine richness. It reveals notes of ripe raspberry, fleshy blue plum and small notes of fleshy cherry associated with fine touches of crushed strawberry, blond tobacco as well as a subtle hint of blueberry, licorice, racy minerality and a discreet hint of sweet spices / hazelnut. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a good definition, a certain gourmandize, finesse, an acidulous frame, suavity as well as energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy cherry, fleshy / juicy raspberry and small notes of juicy / acidulous blue plum associated with touches of small crushed red berries as well as hints of liquorice, cardamom, Tonka bean, a subtle hint of hazelnut and sweet spices. Tannins are well-built. Good length. Presence of fine hints of crushed / caramelized almonds on the persistence.
