Dame de Boüard 2022 – Montagne Saint-Emilion

Dame de Boüard 2022 – Montagne Saint-Emilion

Nice nose with intensity and power. There is also depth and a nice frank and powerful grain. We perceive notes of boysenberries, small fresh fruits and more lightly violet or even lily associated with touches of blueberries, star anise as well as fine hints of pepper. The palate is fruity with juiciness and deliciousness. There is the sweetness of the delicacy but also a lovely shine and juice from the fruit. We have notes of juicy and pulpy blackberries, blackcurrant and more slightly – cornflower associated with touches of crushed raspberries as well as hints of star anise, nutmeg as well as vanilla notes in the background. The tannins are supple and well-built. There is a fine softness and a subtle hint of toasted hazelnuts and sap in the background. It is a wine with lovely freshness, minerality, fat and good length.
