Dame de Boüard 2020 – Montagne Saint-Emilion

Dame de Boüard 2020 – Montagne Saint-Emilion

The nose is fresh, fruity, racy and offers a nice energy as well as a certain power of grain. There are notes of wild blackberry, fresh violet and, to a lesser extent, fresh pepper, combined with hints of fairly ripe red berries, a discreet hint of roasted cherry and fine nutmeg. The palate is fruity, balanced, elegant and offers juiciness, minerality, acidity, good definition, fine creaminess and gourmandise. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, fresh/creamy blackcurrant and more slightly fresh/ripe red berry notes with hints of roasted cherry, lilac, nutmeg and a subtle hint of pepper (in the background) and toastiness. The tannins are supple. Good length. Sapid!
