The nose is aromatic, (very) slightly tight, precise and offers power, a fine freshness, a fine intensity, a very beautiful grain and elegance. It reveals notes of dried blackberry, dried strawberry and fine touches of dried redcurrants, balsamic combined with a hint of violet, small hints of spices, garrigue / rosemary as well as a very discreet hint of racy minerality and tonka bean. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant, precise, beautifully gourmande and offers a beautiful definition, a fine acid frame, harmony, volume, depthness as well as freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, crushed /dried strawberry and small notes of small dried berries associated with a subtle hint of balsamic, blond tobacco, spices, racy minerality, garrigue as well as very discreet hints of chocolate, hazelnut / toasted almond. Tannins are very fine and elegant. Very fine chews on the finish. The aftertaste is (very) slightly powerful. There are touches of of chocolate, fruit and toasted almond on the aftertaste. Beautiful persistence!
