The nose is aromatic, straight and offers a good structure, a beautiful finesse, a fine fleshiness / depthness as well as complexity. It reveals notes of wild blackberries, cassis and slight hints of flowers, minerality associated with a discreet hint of pepper (green pepper berries in the background), a subtle hint of fleshy wild strawberry as well as an imperceptible touch of licorice / tea and undergrowth. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, straight and offers a beautiful mineral frame, a slight juiciness, straightness, precision and a beautiful gourmandise. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy blackberry, cassis and slight touches of blueberry associated with a subtle touch of fleshy / juicy red fruits, discreet hints of cardamom, toasted hints as well as a very discreet hint of vanilla, violet and caramelization. Tannins are supple, beautifully integrated and offer a beautiful finesse. Good length. There is a very discreet hint of tonka bean / dark chocolate on the persistence. An outstanding wine!
