The nose is elegant, racy and offers power as well as precision. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, pulpy blackberryand small notes of bright raspberry associated with small touches of bigarreau cherry as well as fine hints of juicy/fresh plum, nutmeg, spices, a racy minerality, an imperceptible hint of incense, tobacco and grey pepper. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced, beautifully built and offers gourmandize, tension, freshness as well as a beautiful definition, precision, suavity, a small fat and elegance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright blackberry, juicy/ripe cassis and small notes of bigarreau cherry associated with hints of mocha, cardamom, nutmeg, subtle hints of grey pepper and caramelization. A finish on notes of toasted, caramelization and a very discreet hint of vanilla. A persistence on notes of cocoa.
