Closerie des Alisiers – Chardonnay 2016 – Bourgogne

The nose is fresh, fruity and offers a very fine richness. It reveals notes of ripe lemon, zest, green apple and small notes of nectarine associated with a hint of flint and a very discreet hint of exotic fruit. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, suave and offers gourmandise, a fine unctuosity, straightness, a pretty acid / juicy frame, minerality, a nice freshness and a slight fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe lemon, green apple and crushed brugnon associated with a subtle hint of zest, a discreet hint of exotic fruit and a very discreet touch of flint / limestone. Good length.
