Clos du Val – Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 – Napa Valley

The nose is fine, fruity and quite elegant. It reveals notes of blackberries, cassis and violets combined with slight notes of raspberry and wood. The palate is fruity, racy, balanced, powerful and offers some minerality and juiciness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry and raspberry combined with touches of blackcurrant buds and slight toasted oaky notes. Tannins are fine and firm. Good length.
