Clos des Jacobins 2020 Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Grand Cru Classé 

On the nose it is  elegant, racy and offers power (in control), a nice ripe/fleshy fruit, finesse and a nice racy grain. It reveals notes of bright boysenberry, small wild black fruits, notes of strawberry associated with touches of violet, cherry tree flower, plum as well as hints of cacao, sichuan pepper, black tea and fine hints of spices. On the palate it is fruity, elegant and offers juiciness, gourmandize, a good definition as well as precision, finesse, a small tension, a fine airy side in the approach despite its power/ concentration, freshness, a small creaminess and a nice grain racy fine. The wine expresses notes of juicy/bright strawberry, boysenberry, hint of black plum associated with touches of fresh strawberry, cornflower, plum tree flower as well as subtle notes of blueberry, zan, sweet spices, a discreet touch of pepper and cardamom/cacao. The tannins are precise, structured and racy. Good length.
