The nose is aromatic, elegant, racy, precise and finely powerful. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and fine notes of undergrowth associated with discreet touches of strawberry jam, chocolate, Bourbon vanilla, cornflower, a subtle hint of cardamom as well as a very discreet of truffle, an imperceptible touch of pepper (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of menthol after aeration. The palate is fruity, beautifully elegant, nicely gourmande and offers a fine juiciness, a nice precision, straightness, juiciness, a good structure, a nice guideline, a beautiful finesse / delicacy, depthness and a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, jammy cassis and strawberry associated with a touch of crushed blueberry, chocolate, caramelized oak, a subtle hint of liquorice, vanilla as well as a hint of cardamom and sweet spices. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length and good persistence. A good wine !
