Clark-Claudon – Eternity 2015 – Napa Valley

The nose is fresh, fruity, racy and offers concentration, freshness as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of crushed wild blackberry, wild raspberry, cassis and wild strawberry combined with touches of Sichuan pepper and flowers. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a beautiful suavity, a beautiful grain, elegance as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, blackberry, cassis and small notes of wild raspberry, crushed redcurrants associated with touches of liquorice, dark chocolate and very discreet hints of hazelnut on the persistence. Tannins are fine, elegant and very slightly firm. There is an imperceptible touch of almond on the aftertaste.
