Château Trotanoy 2022 – Pomerol

The nose is pretty, fresh and fruity with a certain slight intensity and a nice finesse of the grain. There are notes of pulpy blackberries, crushed blackcurrant and more slightly small wild black fruits associated with touches of spices and a subtle hint of pepper and almost aromatic herbs. The palate is fruity with freshness and minerality. There is a lovely definition, tension, accuracy and a tangy framework which presents a lovely delicacy in its intensity and power. This wine is all in harmony, subtlety with a certain little concentration. We have notes of small wild blue berries, pepper and more lightly lily combined with touches of dark chocolate as well as tonka bean and a subtle hint of star anise in the background. Complexity for this pretty wine with a distinguished and mineral freshness. We even perceive a subtle hint of vanilla pod.
