Château Tour des Termes 2017 – Saint-Estèphe

Château Tour des Termes 2017 – Saint-Estèphe

The nose is aromatic, fine, precise, racy, powerful, concentrated and offers a fine freshness. It reveals notes of cassis, raspberry and small wild berries associated with fine touches of spices, flowers, liquorice as well as discreet touches of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fresh, juicy, well-balanced and offers a small fleshiness, a good definition, a fine acid frame, fullness, racy minerality as well as a good guideline. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, fleshy/fresh berries and more slightly cherry, juicy redcurrant associated with small touches of fleshy strawberry, fine touches of caramelization, toasted as well as a hint of liquorice and a very discreet hint of vanilla (in the background). Tannins are fine and slightly firm. Good length. There is a subtle hint of almond on the persistence/aftertaste.
