Château Tour Bayard – L’Angelot 2020 – Montagne Saint-Emilion

The nose is spicy, straightforward and offers intensity, some stretch and power. There are notes of wild blackcurrant, cloves and a hint of pepper, combined with touches of fresh leather, concentrated blackcurrant and a hint of balsamic and spice. The palate is fresh and offers minerality, tension, acidity and a certain energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, crushed currant and more slightly pulpy/sour blackcurrant combined with hints of clove, fresh tobacco and a touch of nutmeg and spice.
