Château Teynac 2017 – Saint-Julien

Château Teynac 2017 – Saint-Julien

The nose is fruity and slightly tight. It reveals notes of crushed boysenberry and crushed wild strawberry associated with small notes of violet/lily, liquorice as well as a hint of almond, racy minerality, discreet hints of tonka bean and an imperceptible hint of Cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers a good definition, a fine mineral/acid frame, suavity as well as fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis and more slightly wild raspberry, ripe redcurrant associated with fine touches of violet/bulb, racy minerality as well as discreet touches of toasted, chocolate and almond. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
