Château Ségur de Cabanac 2017 – Saint-Estèphe

The nose is fruity, racy and offers a fine minerality as well as elegance. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, cassis and racy minerality associated with small touches of strawberry, cardamom, Cuben pepper, sweet spices as well as a very discreet hint of flowers (lilac, lily). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy, very slightly tight and offers a good definition, a fine acid frame, a fine suavity, a small freshness, a good structure as well as a small tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, crushed cassis and small notes of fleshy/crushed redcurrant associated with small touches of racy minerality, chocolate, spices as well as a very discreet hint of flowers (lilac, lily).
