Château Saransot Dupré 2016 – Listrac-Médoc

Château Saransot Dupré 2016 – Listrac-Médoc

The nose is fruity. It reveals notes of crushed strawberry, blueberry and discreet hints of flowers associated with a hint of cassis, woody hints as well as a very discreet hint of dark chocolate and gray pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, fat, a slight suavity, a beautiful freshness, tension, a good structure, a slight unctuosity as well as gourmandise. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry and slight notes of fleshy/ripe strawberry associated with discreet hints of chocolate, caramelized oak as well as discreet hints of vanilla/coconut. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length. There is a very discreet/imperceptible hint of minerality almost salin in the background.
