Syrah 80%, Grenache 20%
The wine shows a vivid and youthful ruby colour with a touch of purple. The nose is intense and fruity, revealing nuances of fresh, ripe forest berries like bramble, forest black raspberries and black berries, supported by nuances of sweet spices. The palate is smooth and polished with refreshing acidity, chalky, slightly edgy tannins and still a hint of reduction due to the wine’s age. The wine opens up with notes of fresh blackberries and black cherries, a hint of violet and liquorice. Juicy finish. Will improve with some ageing.
