The nose is elegant, toasted. It reveals notes of grilled oak, toasted hazelnutand small notes of liquorice associated with touches of black cherry, violet, small blue fruits as well as fine hints of crushed redcurrant, hints of liquorice, toasted almond and a very discreet hint of coffee. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, gourmandize, a fine acidulous frame as well as tension and a beautiful bright fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cherry, blackberryand small notes of lily associated with touches of bright/juicy cassis as well as a hint of pulpy redcurrant, small hints of liquorice stick, violet, mild tobacco, a very discreet hint of saffron and an imperceptible hint of coffee (in the background).
