Château Saint-Ahon 2017 – Haut-Médoc

This wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of crunchy wild blackberry, crunchy raspberry and small notes of fresh lilac/fresh cornflower associated with fine touches of Cuben pepper. The mouth is fruity, fresh and offers minerality and a good definition. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh/fleshy red cherry, violet and small notes of fresh cornflower associated with fine touches of fresh/crunchy blackberry as well as fine hints of racy minerality, a very discreet varietal hint and an imperceptible hint of vanilla/liquorice. A very discreet chew and firmness on the finish/persistence.
