Château Rabaud-Promis 2007 – 1er Grand Cru Classé, Sauternes

The nose is fruity, gourmand, fresh, elegant and relatively rich. It reveals notes of honey and candied citrus associated with fine notes of peach in syrup, a hint of zest as well as touches of gingerbread, botrytis, cardamom and a hint of fresh ginger. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, generous, relatively gourmand and offers a small suavity, a beautifull freshness and tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of candied citrus (lemon, clementine) associated with small notes of peach in syrup, roasted pineapple as well as a touch of white fruit (green apple, pear), apricot, honey and spices / gingerbread. Good length and persistence. (2016 – 2035)
