Château Pindefleurs 2020, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

On the nose, fruity and offers gourmandize, a slight richness, a compacted and a certain intensity. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, crushed strawberry and more slightly of pulpy plum associated with touches of strawberry, licorice, of zan, cardamom and fine points of camphor, of black tea and of vanilla. On the palate, fruity, balanced with freshness, juiciness, gourmandize, good definition, fine texture and a certain intensity. The wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright raspberry and hints of bright blackcurrant combined with hints of fresh/juicy violet plum, lilac, lily and subtle hints of tonka bean, cardamom, sweet blond tobacco and discreet traces of fresh vanilla. The tannins are soft. Presence of a discreet chocolate touch on the persistence. Greediness, sapidity and a fine chewiness on the finish/persistence.
