Château Pierhem 2015 – Pomerol

Château Pierhem 2015 – Pomerol

The nose is fruity, fine and relatively gourmand. It reveals notes of plum jam and black cherry associated with a hint of cassis, violets and a touch of liquorice. The palate is fruity, racy, relatively fat, relatively silky and offers minerality, a good matter, freshness and tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry and crème de cassis associated with a hint of juicy blueberry, graphite, licorice as well as discrete woody notes (in the background). Tannins are fine and well built. Good length and persistence.
