Château Peyros 2012 – Greenwich 43N – Madiran

The nose is fine, relatively aromatic, relatively powerful and offers a fine density. It reveals notes of blackberry and plum associated with fine notes of cassis, blueberry, spice, black tea and a discreet touch of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, gourmand, well-balanced, slightly fleshy and offers a fresh frame, a fine acidity and fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, plum and fine notes of blueberry, crushed strawberry associated with touches of oak, mocha as well as a discreet hint of coffee, cassis bud and discreet hints of sweet spices. Good length.
