Château Petit Val 2017 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

Château Petit Val 2017 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is aromatic and offers a very fine concentration as well as harmony. It reveals notes of cassis, wild blackberry and small wild berries associated with touches of Timut pepper, a very discreet hint of bell pepper (in the background) as well as fine touches of zan and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, slightly tight, fine and offers tension as well as complexity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, cassis and more slightly juicy red berries, cherry associated with fine/discreet touches of cassis bud (in the background). There is a very discreet hint of tobacco and an imperceptible hint of caramelization (in the background) on the persistence. There is a hint of dark chocolate on the aftertaste.
