Château Moulin Riche 2015 – Saint-Julien

The nose is fruity, concentrated relatively powerful and offers richness as well as a slight freshness. It reveals notes of wild strawberry, redcurrant and slight notes of crushed raspberry associated with touches of cassis, flowers, spices, terroir and a subtle touch of white pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acid frame, minerality, a nice juiciness, fat, a good definition as well as a small precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh cherry and fresh raspberry combined with touches of crushed redcurrant, cassis as well as slight touches of chocolate, sweet spices, fresh flowers, Bourbon vanilla and an imperceptible hint of caramelized almond. Tannins are fine, structuring and discreetly tight. Good length.
