Château Moulin du Cadet 2012 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fruity, aromatic and relatively elegant. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and red fruit (strawberry) combined with a small touch of berries, flowers as well as slight notes of caramelized oak as well as a discreet hint of hazelnut and sweet spices (nutmeg …). The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, well built, relatively fat, slightly aerial and offers harmony, a fine minerality as well as a silky matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cassis and fine notes of plum associated with slight notes of strawberry, raspberry as well as a discreet hint of mocha and toasted oak. Tannins are fine, supple and well-built. Good length. The finish is suave.
