Château Moulin de Taffard 2015 – Médoc – Cru Bourgeois

The nose is fruity and offers gourmandise as well as a slight richness / concentration. It reveals notes of creme de cassis, wild strawberry and crushed raspberry combined with slight touches of blackberry, caramelized oak as well as a hint of cardamom and a subtle / imperceptible hint of flowers (in the background). The palate is fresh, mineral, fruity, round, well-balanced and offers fat as well as a good guideline. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cherry, fleshy / crushed cassis and slight notes of of blackberry associated with slight toasted touches, caramelization as well as a very discreet hint of liquorice and an imperceptible hint of coffee (in background). Good and aromatic persistence. There is a discreet hint of almond on the finish / aftertaste.
